This painting is about seeing Christ in all his glory. On the mountain top as the disciples saw Jesus, both man and God, connect heaven and earth.

Matthew 17:2 states that Jesus "was transfigured before them; his face shining as the sun, and his garments became white as the light."

A small thumbnail painting done as a color key test for a possible large scale version.
